Bring a large pan of water to the boil.
Ensure there is enough room for the pasta to cook evenly.
Add salt to the boiling water which will season the pasta. Although this is optional, we recommend approximately ½ a teaspoons for every 100g of pasta.
Add the pasta and stir well, ensuring the water continues to boil to stop the pasta sticking together.
Cook for 9-11 minutes or until ‘al dente’ which means ‘firm to bite’.
The texture of the pasta should be soft, yet still slightly firm in the middle.
Cooking times will vary depending on which pasta you use.
Check the cooking times on each of the Napolina packs – for example Napolina Whole Wheat pasta takes an extra minute to cook.
Drain the pasta over a sink.
Mix well with your favourite sauce ensuring the pasta is fully coated before serving.
