Fig & Mozzarella Salad

This Italian salad uses classic flavour combinations to bring you a mouth-watering starter, light main course or a sharing dish for friends. For extra sweetness try drizzling a little honey before serving.

Method:

Simply arrange the figs, mozzarella and tomatoes onto a plate.

Scatter over the basil leaves, fresh milled pepper and a good drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.

Squeeze over the lemon juice and serve with some fresh bread and a few rocket leaves.

4 fresh figs, cut into quarters

2 soft mozzarella balls, torn into chunks

2 ripe plum tomatoes, sliced

Handful of torn basil leaves

½ lemon

Good drizzle of Napolina Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Fresh milled pepper
