Red Kidney Beans
Red kidney beans are high in protein and fibre and are a good substitute for meat.
Napolina Kidney Beans are easy to use as they have already been soaked and cooked, unlike with dried pulses. Simply pour into your pasta sauces or risotto and let them simmer away. Alternatively red kidney beans are great in salads and casseroles.
They feature in an array of Italian dishes including kidney beans salad, but they are also used widely in other cuisines to make recipes such as red kidney bean burgers and red kidney bean curry.
